“The 2012 Jingle Ball concert was a success with major acts like Justin Bieber, Flo-Rida, Enrique Iglesias and more. The lighting was awesome, and the crowd had all of the energy in the universe. Ke$ha did an excellent job with her dance team, she was a joy to watch. Hundreds of fans danced in the crowd along with Psy, as he and his dancers took the crowd by storm. It was more than obvious that he enjoyed every bit of the energy that D.C. fans gave to him. Special thanks to the Radio station Hot 99.5! They put together a winning promotional strategy that got fans to come out and support this big night. I’m sorry if you missed this concert, but I have to say it was one of the best concerts I’ve attended in years.”

Last night at Hot 99.5’s FIRST ever Jingle Ball 2012, presented by Charleston Alexander Diamond Importers, at The Patriot Center, the stars were out in full force. Justin Bieber, Enrique Iglesias, Ke$ha, Flo Rida, Ed Sheeran, PSY, Austin Mahone, and Cher Lloyd all performed in front of a sold-out show.  Kane, Sarah, Intern John, Erick, Toby, Kruz and Styles from Hot 99.5 all made special appearances.

The crowd went wild for the slew of talent that made their way to DC for the star-studded holiday concert.  The show kicked off with rising young talent, Austin Mahone, who was followed by X-Factor UK alum, Cher Lloyd, who performed “I Want You Back” prompting her fans to sing along with the lyrics. The viral sensation, PSY, who recently sang at the White House, brought the crowd to their feet with a quick performance of the hit “Gangnam Style.”

Later in the inaugural Jingle Ball, Ke$ha strummed an electric guitar as she had everyone singing along with a colorful live melody of her hits including “We R Who We R”, “Blah Blah Blah” and “Tik Tok.”  To close the program, Justin Bieber performed a full set to the packed house including “Beauty and a Beat”, “Girlfriend” and closed the show with hit “Baby” as girls shrieked with excitement.
