Grab your fork and get ready D.C.

It’s that time of year again! “What?” You say….. Christmas was two weeks ago! No, my friend! It is an even happier time of year to celebrate. Today marks the official kick off of Washington D.C.’s 2012 Restaurant Week! D.C.’s Restaurant Week runs from January 9th to January 15th (with some extensions based on the restaurant) and features a multitude of different cuisine styles ranging anywhere from Traditional American, Pan-Asian, Spanish, Mexican (my personal favorite), Italian, French, Mediterranean and so much more.

I have always loved and enjoyed restaurant week as it is an official time to break out of one’s comfort zone and try places and dishes that may be typically out of one’s niche and/or price range. Over 200 of Washington, DC’s most acclaimed restaurants will offer 3-course lunches for $20.12 and 3-course dinners for $35.12. Just make sure to call ahead and make a reservation. You can check out the full listing of Menu offerings for the 2012 D.C.’s Restaurant week here: http://www.restaurantweekmetrodc.org./ So grab a loved one or group of friends and hit the town! Your stomach will thank you.
