It’s party time! Check out a few Do’s & Don’t on preparing for holiday parties this season.

THE FOOD!! The loved ones! The gifts! The parties! Did I mention the food? That’s right folks, the holiday season is upon us once again. With Thanksgiving underway, many of us are looking forward to spending quality time with friends and family, or at least, shopping for new toys at discounted prices and enjoying some much needed time off from work! With the economy still somewhat waist deep in the mud, it’s been quite a tough year for the majority of the country. The holiday season resonates among many people because it reminds us to share, and be thankful for the things that we do have.

The holiday season is also notorious for putting many individuals in a dilemma. What to wear, what to wear, what to wear?! It’s peak party season, which means invitations for holiday get-togethers and office parties will be coming your way soon if they haven’t started to already. Deciding what to wear can be difficult enough on a daily basis, but now, thanks to the multiple sub-genres of holiday parties, many other factors are at play. Are you familiar with any of the following predicaments?

–          It’s a formal office holiday party, I want to look good, not boring but not too over the top. Help!

–          I’m having dinner with my boyfriend’s family at his parents’ house. What’s acceptable???

–          My best friend’s cousin’s ex-girlfriend is having a holiday party. I really want to make a good impression but I have no clue what to wear! *Eeeek!*

If you answered yes to any of those, relax, you are not alone. Here are a few Do’s and Don’ts that will help reduce your anxiety.
