Union Market is the place to be this summer. We explored home goods store Salt & Sundry and found yet another reason why the crowds keep coming.
Salt & Sundry has perfected the balance of Pinterest cute and hipster chic in its Union Market location. Owner Amanda McClement’s careful choosing of local goods for the store results in a fusion of Anthropologie and Paper Source. A hostess’ haven, the store has intricately painted pottery, elegant Turkish towels and handcrafted wooden tables. It’s one of those stores where you can get everything you came looking for, and then overspend on adorable little trinkets, such as Stainless steel straws and a flask with Abraham Lincoln on it (how are these items both so unnecessary and necessary at the same time?). Salt & Sundry also sells jewelry, spices and stationery. Whether you’re looking to redecorate or window shop, Salt & Sundry makes a trip to NoMa well worth it.
