Thursday, June 18, 2014, at 2 pm marks the opening ceremony of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. It’s about to be the biggest party happening around the world. Where will you be watching the games?

For the next month, the 2014 World Cup matches will be broadcasted live. Here are the best bars to watch your favorite teams.


Laughing Man Tavern (Metro Center) is home to American Outlaws, the supporters of the U.S. National Team. Word on the street is the basement will be open to broadcast all of the games.


Lucky Bar (Dupont Circle) draws quite an international crowd and is known to have a fun and enthusiastic crowd. Doors will open early at noon on June 12 to broadcast the opening ceremony.


Queen Vic (H Street) is notorious for supporting British teams. Appropriately so since this traditional British pub is full of spirit and offers an authentic British experience.


Fado Irish Bar (Chinatown) has an expanded liquor license and is sure to be a popular spot for those who want more than beer.
